Project Description:
FMA was awarded a contract by the Borough of Carlisle to design a passive linear park that will connect Valley Meadows Park and the Nottingham Residential Development. The project will be constructed from monies awarded by a DCNR grant, donation from the adjacent industrial park, and the Borough of Carlisle. FMA developed conceptual sketches by performing a site analysis and attending three (3) public meetings to gather information from the community. After the sketch plan phase, FMA prepared construction drawings and specifications for the implementation of the proposed park. In addition to plan preparation, FMA was responsible for securing the erosion and sedimentation control permit and construction administration services. The project required working in conjunction with the Borough of Carlisle, local residents and DCNR throughout the design process.
