Project Description:
FMA was selected by JVH Properties of Lemoyne, Pennsylvania to prepare a five lot subdivision plan on a 21.5 acre parcel, located along South Filey’s Road in Dillsburg. The project involved construction of a 615 foot long public street with a cul-de-sac and five new dwellings. Two detention basins were designed, along with bio-retention facilities for water quality treatment and infiltration. The street was designed to prevent negative impacts upon existing wetlands identified within the site boundaries. High nitrate levels were identified on the site and due to the project being served by on-lot water supply wells and sewage disposal systems, a hydrogeologic study was conducted. The conclusion of the study found that the site would provide a sufficient recharge area for groundwater. Services include obtaining Final Subdivision Plan approval from Monaghan Township, and Erosion & Sedimentation Control approval from the York County Conservation District.
