Project Description: FMA was selected by Shepherdstown Associates of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania to prepare zoning exhibits for a 24.5 Acre parcel in and adjacent to the historic district of Shepherdstown, PA. The project site, zoned Residential Medium Density Residential (R-2), is seeking a change to the Village Residential (VR) zoning district which would allow “upscale” townhouse units to be constructed. The architecture for these townhouse units will pull elements from the adjacent properties within the historic district of Shepherdstown. The project required working closely with Shepherdstown Associates, Shepherdstown residents, and Upper Allen Township officials.
