Project Description:
FMA was selected by Volunteers of America of Pennsylvania headquartered in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to prepare land development plans and construction documents for a low income community containing 14 dwelling units and community building in Harrisburg, PA. The project it located on North Blue Ribbon Avenue Northeast of Interstate 81 Exit 72. The project included the design of a stormwater detention facility, associated parking, utility extension and site lighting. FMA obtained final land development approval from Lower Paxton Township, and erosion and sedimentation control approval from the Dauphin County Conservation District. FMA efficiently designed the community with zero impact to the 1.8 acres of protected wetlands on site.
