Brian L. Fischbach, PE, LEED AP has been in the civil engineering and environmental fields, concentrating in municipal engineering and administration, solid waste, mining, and site development sectors for more than 18 years.  As a Principal and Managing Partner at FMA, Mr. Fischbach coordinates a team of professionals to prepare feasibility studies, zoning plans, subdivision and land development plans, landscape plans, storm water management plans, and floodplain studies for a range of residential, commercial, institutional, educational and industrial projects. 

Mr. Fischbach, in addition to his day to day project management duties, is also responsible for financial management, business planning, and strategic planning.

Mr. Fischbach’s experience also includes the drafting of subdivision and land development ordinances, zoning ordinances, and ACT 537 Plans, preparing grant applications for submittal to various Commonwealth agencies, review of subdivision and land development plans, the preparation of various feasibility studies, environmental reports, and permits related to the construction of municipal solid waste landfills, materials recycling facilities, composting facilities, resource recovery facilities, coal processing activities, and water distribution facilities.

In addition to his responsibilities at FMA, Mr. Fischbach serves as Municipal Engineer for the LeTort Regional Authority (LRA).  The LRA is a local public body with the commitment to help protect the LeTort Spring Run, and is the only municipal authority in the Commonwealth incorporated with specific watershed responsibilities.  The government bodies that appoint representatives to the Authority are: Borough of Carlisle, South Middleton Township, Middlesex Township, North Middleton Township and Cumberland County.
